très belle application

merci

Can get better

Not bad but: We would like french as well and also that pins from index would be the same as pins from a muscle found from searching, if you see what i mean. Try to improve the pins fonctions.

Must have for medical

Ok

I would give this App. 5 Stars but unfortunately some muscles are missing like M. Fibularis. And this App. does not support Retina Displays (no go)

Little pricey

This app works as advertised. As a personal trainer I find it necessary at time to brush up on my anatomy (especially the muscles of the hip and core area). Also, in working with those with minor injuries it helps me better pinpoint the deeper, smaller muscles that could be causing recurring pain making corrective exercise prescription much easier. My only beef and its a fairly large one is that its great to be able to see the muscles so indepth and the descriptions of insertion and origin are good but really without the visual of the actual connection (especially on high ligament traffic areas like the knees and shoulders) youre missing a big piece of the puzzle. Having to spend $20 on the muscle app and another $20 on the skeletal app is 1) a rip off and 2) doesnt solve the problem as there really should be an amalgimation of the two apps. Hell, sell ALL your apps as a single program with the ability to remove organs in one shot, etc and charge $50. That Id pay for. Again, does what it says, interface is good. Just bit pricey and lacks a key element that would make this more useable long term. Cheers

Good app if youre in fitness or chiropractic

As an exercise scientist and going into chiropractic college, I have found that this app is a suitable replacement for the muscular charts of old that I have hanging on the wall. The glory of this app comes from the cutting away of the muscles to reveal deeper, more intrinsic muscle groups and all of their insertions. For instance, youll get a description of the short biceps head, used for external rotation which translates into supinated biceps curls when you workout. The longer head and brachioradialis would be better trained with hammer curls. You also see the nerve supply and origins, i.e. where the muscle inserts. Like "AllTraps" says, its a bit pricey for what it offers. I also rated it a 4:5 because its not so easy to rotate once youre zoomed in. Thirdly, you get sagittal and transverse planes but you dont get to see from above or below. I wanted a true 3D experience. For twenty bucks it was still a justified purchased. Youll be able to review all the pernickety details and engage in quizzes. Good but not great. With a few tweaks the price tag will justify the program.

App review

Very good presentation fairly easy to use. However the app hangs once in a while and some information and certain muscles are messing. Overall quite good but Im not sure its worth the 19.99 There are similar apps for less cost.

Brome Lake Fitness

This app is a must for all who work in the fitness industry. Ease of use is fantastic and extremely helpful in educating clients on muscular anatomy and function !

Muscle System Pro rocks!

Very comprehensive, this app permits animation-assisted zooming into detailed muscle images; likewise there is a very useful capability to remove (sometimes several) layers of muscle to see underlying structure. Most useful for our fitness & training clients to quickly view the target muscle (group) just before or during an exercise. Too bad we cant view "i" (info) in larger format (or have option to) as most of our clients are retirees / boomers.

Helpful

Is this application worth $20? It is hard to say. If I was a professional in the health care system or a personal trainer I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this app. It is a great visual aid to show to your clients to give them a better idea of muscles you are referring to. On the other hand students might find the $20 is too steep of a price to pay. An anatomy textbook is still far more detailed and more helpful. And you probably already own one. You may wish you spent your money going out with friends instead.

quiz mode

Great detail, but sometimes it is hard to touch correct flag. I wish it had more quiz modes and a way to include/exclude muscles. Very pricey.

good

good for most identifications! it would get five stars if there was more detail in the ability to cut down only specific muscles piece by piece

Okay, you did a great job.

Im a student of a 2 year massage program. This program rocks! It is a significant improvement and is well worth the price and the time it takes to work through the finesse of manipulation the program. Views are great, testing is torture but everything is way beyond any other single app out there. I think I can speak for all the geeks of my school. We all have it and ipad of iphone it is the coolest. thank you.

Crashes

From the preview the updates look amazing. I really enjoyed the other version. BUT every time I open the updated version it crashes and puts me back to my home screen. I have not been able to study once with this updated app. Please fix it.

Great anatomy app!

I always have to freshen up on my anatomy. Having this makes it convenient and fun to do so. I should mention that I also purchased the ipad version and have the skeletal system as well!! Solid APP!

nope...

This app isnt really that great at all. The graphics arent retina, and the quiz feature is terrible. The pin is very hard to see, and often times you cant even see which muscle exactly it is in. I wouldnt waste your money on it...

Fabulous

This app is a wonderful deal, it has all the refernces I need - origin, insertion, action, nerve. Great for quick reviews in the lab! Essential learning tool, excellent reference source!

Though it was awesome

So this app would be fantastic if only I could use it. It keeps crashing on me

Crash!

Ive had to reinstall this app three times now. It freezes and thats it. I then have to delete and reinstall again. Excellent detail and I love the quiz feature. Hate the freeze and crash. Please fix it.
